Skim Coating
Flat, smooth walls from rough ones
Skim coating takes a wall that has been patched, papered, textured, or simply lived in for eighty years and makes it flat again. We apply thin coats of compound or veneer plaster across the whole surface, then sand it level so paint reads evenly instead of catching every old repair.

Our Process
Prep
Glue residue is washed off, loose material is cut out, and the surface is bonded.
First Skim
A thin coat is spread over the full surface to fill the low spots and texture.
Second Skim
A second pass, worked in the opposite direction, brings the whole wall level.
Sand & Prime
Dustless sanding flattens it, then primer seals the surface for paint.
