About JZ Plastering
A plastering and drywall company serving MA, NH and southern Maine, Mon – Sat.
Our Story
JZ Plastering LLC was founded by Edgar Lopez on a simple promise: show up when we say we will, do the work underneath properly, and treat every home like it’s our own. With more than 15 years of experience in the trade, Edgar built the company on craft he’s refined one wall at a time. We’re based at 147 Garfield Avenue in Chelsea, and from day one the business has grown by word of mouth across Greater Boston, the North Shore, and up into New Hampshire and Maine.
Today we cover 31 cities across three states — from Framingham and Lexington through the New Hampshire seacoast and up the Maine coast to Portland. We’ve earned a reputation for being dependable, detail-driven, and easy to work with — the kind of crew you’re comfortable having in your home for a week.
Plaster is the trade we came up in, and it shows in the work: veneer plaster, traditional lath repair, skim coating, and Level 5 finishes, plus the board, insulation, and trim that go with them. We bring our own equipment, sand dustless so you can stay in the house, protect your floors and furniture, and clean up at the end of every day. We’re available Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 3 PM, and your second service is always 15% off.
What We Stand For
Reliability
We show up when we say we will, we finish when we said we would, and we keep you updated along the way.
Respect
We move and cover your furniture, mask your floors, seal the work area, and clean up daily. Your home stays livable.
Quality
Proper prep, the right finish level, and a surface checked in raking light. We walk every room with you before we call it done.
Community
We're a Chelsea business. We live here, we work here, and most of our jobs come from neighbors referring neighbors.
Our Mission
Deliver walls and ceilings that still look right years later, because what went on underneath was done properly. Treat every customer like a neighbor, and earn the next job with the quality of this one.
Our Promise
If you’re not satisfied with the finish, we’ll make it right. No questions, no excuses. That’s how we’ve built a business where most of our work comes from repeat customers and their referrals.
